Bankverse press & partnership kit
Everything on this page may be reproduced for editorial coverage of Bankverse.
Bankverse is an independent publication about moving, holding and spending money across borders — written for freelancers, expats, digital nomads and anyone whose income and outgoings live in different currencies. Every fee we publish is checked against the provider's own pricing page and dated, and no provider can buy a ranking.

Independence, in writing
This is the part most outreach is really asking about, so it is stated plainly:Bankverse does not sell placement. No sponsored posts, no paid link insertions, no paid reviews, no "partner content", and no adjusting a verdict for a commercial relationship. That is not a current policy that could be revisited — it is the reason the site exists, and enquiries about paid placement are declined.
The site is funded by affiliate commissions. Every page carrying an affiliate link discloses it at the top, and commissions never influence rankings — including when the honest answer is that a reader should use their local bank and we earn nothing. The full policy is in our editorial standards, and the ranking method is in how we rate providers.
What we can speak to
Available for comment, background, or data on the following. Emailbankverse@proton.me — deadline-friendly, and happy to be told the piece is on a same-day turnaround.
- The real cost of cross-border paymentsExchange-rate markups versus headline "no fee" claims, why the advertised rate and the received amount differ, and what the World Bank cost benchmarks actually measure.
- Multi-currency accounts and how they differ from banksSafeguarding versus deposit insurance — the distinction most coverage gets wrong, and what it means for your money if a fintech fails.
- Getting paid as a cross-border freelancerInvoicing foreign clients, marketplace payouts, employer-of-record platforms, and where each one quietly costs the most.
- Travel and expat spendingCard FX markups, ATM limits, weekend surcharges, and the difference between a travel card and a multi-currency account.
- The digital euro and payment regulationWhat is actually proposed versus what circulates online, and the timeline as published by the ECB and the Commission.
Where a question falls outside what we have actually verified, we will say so and point you to someone better placed rather than supply a quote we can't stand behind.
Data you can cite
Our cross-border money statistics page carries the figures journalists ask for most — remittance costs, global flows, migration and digital-nomad counts — each with its primary source (World Bank, UN DESA, MBO Partners) and the date we last verified it. Please cite the primary source alongside us where it is the underlying authority.
Embed our tools, free
Both tools are free to embed on your own site, including commercially. They are self-contained, load no third-party trackers, and carry a credit link back to bankverse.ch which we ask you to leave intact.
True cost of getting paid — calculator
Enter an invoice amount and corridor; it ranks Wise, Payoneer, PayPal, Revolut and a typical bank by what actually lands in the account.

Please do
- Use the supplied files without redrawing, recolouring or stretching them.
- Leave clear space around the mark of at least the height of the arrowhead.
- Use the white versions on dark backgrounds rather than adding a box behind the mark.
Please don't
- Imply that Bankverse endorses, reviewed, or partnered with a product when it hasn't.
- Use the mark as your own favicon, avatar, or app icon.
- Alter the wordmark's spacing, weight, or colour.
Audience
Bankverse is a young publication and its traffic is growing, so we don't publish a headline audience number that would be out of date within a month. Current figures — sessions, search impressions, geography and device split, straight from Search Console and our analytics — are available on request for any genuine editorial or partnership enquiry. We would rather send you the live numbers than have a stale one sitting on a permanent page.
Contact
Email bankverse@proton.me for press enquiries, corrections, data requests, or embedding questions. We also post fee changes and updates on X at @bankversech.
Corrections are taken seriously: if we have published something inaccurate, tell us and we will verify it, fix the page, and note the change visibly — as promised in oureditorial standards.
Frequently asked
Does Bankverse accept sponsored posts or paid links?
No. Bankverse does not sell placement, rankings, sponsored articles, or link insertions, and never has. The site is funded by affiliate commissions, which are disclosed at the top of every page that carries them and never influence where a product ranks.
Can I quote Bankverse in an article?
Yes. Quotes and figures may be cited with attribution to Bankverse and a link to the page the figure comes from. Our statistics page carries the primary source and verification date for every number, so please cite that original source alongside us where it is the underlying authority.
Can I embed the Bankverse tools on my site?
Yes, free of charge. The fee calculator and the account finder are both embeddable via iframe, and the embed codes are on this page. We ask only that the credit link back to bankverse.ch stays intact.
Who writes Bankverse?
Bankverse is written and run by Vale, an independent developer based in Croatia who invoices international clients and moves money between EU, UK and Swiss platforms — the cross-border money problem the site covers is a daily reality rather than a content angle.
